That sounds like a winner then!

I think the size alone will be cute enough, besides we can alway get a lovely wrap!!

My eldest sister converted to cloth not long ago. Her son has development problems and I think she realised he will be in nappies for longer iykwim so decided to make the switch!

So with me and her using cloth Nicola is very interested. I'm hoping her DH will get into it as much as James has with Erin!

I quite like the look of these for a newborn not heard of them before now

I've got a large one and it was brilliant. It fitted really nicely over all different nappies, the velcro wasn't stiff like on other velcro wraps (I don't usually like velcro wraps but this one converted me), didn't turn in and wick at the front like ME rikki and never leaked.

Ooops forgot about the nappies too. Swaddlebees newborn is v. cute but so are the tiny little kiwis. If I had another, I would also try bambeasy/bimble.

Organic tots are lovely too, but def not as tiny on a newborn.

They aren't the prettiest, but we used bamboozles on Rhys from day 4 (would have been day 1 except the hospital said they wanted us to bring in dispo's (won't listen next time)).
We've never had a leak with them even really runny newborn poop and like Erin, Rhys somehow managed to get it everywhere in a dispo a few times.
They are reasonably dispo shaped in my opinion too, so shouldn't scare a new clothie.

You see I don't think they'll compare them too much to sposies in the way of shape and size, this is their first baby so I think they can be influenced into my way of thinking because they've never used a sposie!!
