How do I measure?!

Sure there must be a thread somewhere but I can't find it, but i wonder if anyone can tell me how I measure rise? I assume waist is where you want the nappy to sit and leg is around the thigh?

waist is around their waist , hips are the widest part, thigh is thigh, innler leg is from crotch to heel, rise is from where their nappy sits on their tummy (normally just under the belly button?) under and through their legs to the top of the back of the nappy if that makes any sense! If your measuring for wool dont forget to measure over the nappies you intend to use under it! So if its for night then measure over your biggest night nappy
