Winter nappies and drying times!

Postby JennyPenny » Wed Oct 21, 2009 7:47 pm

Am already getting annoyed with the drying time since the weather got crap.

I had finally got satisfied with my stash and now I don't like any of it! Its just that I have 2 in cloth so need to wash daily, and they are taking 2-3 days to dry!

It mainly consists of UD, WN, GM, Clwt Twt, bamboo ME etc

Don't get on with cotton as it gets so crispy.

I have just bought some lollipop micros and some size 1 fluffles that might be too small :giggle:

Can anybody recomend any absorbant but quick drying fluff? Mostly use fitteds with wool or fleece?

What do you think I should do with my stash? Don't really want to sell it but on the other hand I can't afford to replace it if I don't! I love most of it but it just takes too long to dry.

I have got some more new micros coming but really they were meant for nappyweb! Tempted to keep them all though!

I can't think of any that will dry quicker, do you tumble any of them? Last nights wash has been hanging all day and I will finish off in the dryer later, I find WNNL take the longes to dry.
Sorry not much help

have you till got the mutts you bought? I quite like how quickly the cotton velour mutts dry, but the bamboo velour ones are slower.

the drying time of bamboo sandys is so slow, I even thought they were bad enough in summer!

I was going to suggest Mutts too.

I always think that - I wouldn't like to try saying it out loud!

So glad I am not the only one that says it like that rude way, Stacey and I had this discussion a while ago.
Louise thanks for that I can now call them foot nappies x
