Flongie question...

Postby megansmummy » Mon Oct 26, 2009 4:09 pm

I am really tempted to try flongies as soon as i have some more funds... (ss has cleared me out  ) but I wanted to ask...I know they cant be re-worn like longies but can they be worn for a day or do they need changing each nappy change?

Thanks

Katie wears hers all day unless they get damp on the outside (this has only happened once when I left her nappy on for slightly too long. )

oh just so you know, you might want to get a slightly higher rise than with wool too hun, ive found charlies are pushing it a bit on coverage, even though theyre the same rise as her woolies. Personally I'd rather have elastic in the waist too, coz once their big nappy is on, it gapes at the back :-?

I bought some fleece trousers from sainsburys a week ago and use those as flongies, and she wears them all day unless a blowout happens or she's really soaked.

I saw some really cute fleece trousers in Gap yesterday, wish I had got some but shopping with 3 kids and DH is not good!

So can you just use any fleece trousers then? They don't need a built in soaker or anything?
