US washing powders???

Postby Charleyjoe » Thu Nov 12, 2009 7:15 pm

Now I've made the decision to take my proper nappies on holiday can anyone recommend a washing powder to use while I'm out there. Theres a Publix supermarket just up the road so should have a good choice but obviosuly I wont be able to get my Bold 2in1 or ASDA own brand Eco powder. I tend to swap week to week as I cant decide which gives me the better wash!
Anyhow any suggestion would be great cos I dont fancy spending hours reading labels and trying to work out which is best and what ever I buy for the nappies will just do for any other washing I get.
Tks
Sue

I used to use Tide, which is probably bio and worked great, but there are lots of eco options too (Charlies, Seventh Generation... can't remember any more!).

I have heard the tide original powder is the best for cloth nappies. Have also heard good things about cheer powder.

Or take some eco-balls with you. Then you won't need to bother with powder at all!
