David would wash mushrooms before cooking them - but I think I have trained him out of that - if their cooked, their fine!

I have seen people peel mushrooms - what a waste of a good mushroom, I sometimes only wash carrots and potatoes and don't peel them, they are nice! Do they peel the cucumber too?

If they're covered in mud then I rinse it off as I don't like eating bits of gritty soil  But we get an organic veg box delivery so they're not quite as pristine as you see in the supermarket!!!

Interestingly it's actually better to wash non-organic veg as they're often covered in pesticides whereas organic veg it's just soil and bugs which get killed by cooking...

I almost always wash mine after nappies, on the odd occasion I might get distracted  but not with a dirty one!! I don't use anti-bac soap though as it rips my hands to shred.

Steph, you said the soap was stinging, has it done any good at all?

Well I stopped using it as it stung - DH has been using it for his face instead!! :)

I'm using angelbaby diaper-rash soap at the moment and it doesn't seem to dry my hands out too much - has things like oatmeal and stuff in...

So I think as I wasn't using ordinary soap before I didn't really notice much difference...

Is ok - his face is lovely and soft!!

If my hands didn't have little cuts in them from my filing rampages at work I think I'd be fine - I think tis just getting in the cuts... Hasn't made them worse or anything tho'...

Will be trying it again once the cuts have healed as I'm not wasting a huge great bar of soap!!

Tis strange, it never stung my hands even though they were bleeding when I first started using it. I hope they are ok when you start using it again :?
