What nightnappy will suit??

Postby MissFrodo » Sat Dec 12, 2009 6:37 pm

I need some help here ;)

We finally figured out what we like best during daytime for Emi.
It's Bumgenius V3, Real Easy nappy, Pop-in, etc.
No more wraps cos we can't get used to it, it just doesn't fit/work for us.
Everything we didn't like is for sale now and I'm doubting what we can use at night.
Our daytime nappies won't last that long.
What do you recommend??
Oh and Emi is 2 years old and can be a heavy wetter ;)

If you don't like wraps then I'd go for nappies by minki. They're pocket with fleece outer and a hidden layer of PUL. They're very roomy for extra boosting and they have never let us down.

Forgat to mention, I have 4 L minki's, but they are not the right fit for Emi.
Too much space by the legs, tried a few times during the day and tried different boosting but seems it;s not the ideal one for us.

i can't think of any other night nappies that have wraps built in, maybe use wool/fleece shorties/longies instead of pyjama bottoms so that it's more clothes and less wraps? in which case, i'd recommend trying upsy daisy night nappies, wee notions night nappies and hollow oak night nappies as they all have a slightly different fit and you can see what suits you...

hope you find something that works!!!

I agree-- wool with something like a WNNN is our go-to night nappy. I've also stuffed an o/s happy heiny with several hemp boosters and used that overnight.

Perhaps try a Baby Beehinds Magic-All pocket. They're minkee outer nappies with snaps. They have some microfibre built in, but there's lots of room for boosting - similar to a standard Minki pocket.

For fitteds, WNNN are excellent, I like them with wool or fleece soakers.

I would email Upsy Daisy and ask for a pocket nappy by them in an XL but with tighter poppers iyswim? There would be plenty of room in the pocket then (UD pockets are already larger than WN for more stuffing)

WSS, we have started using longies and a wool vest as pyjamas over nappies.

Have you tried the night booster for the Pop-in?
