If I get a weenotions pocket nappy do i want micro-fleece or Minkee on the inside if my little boy is a heavy wetter? Would I need to get anything else aswell as this as in inserts or boosters or whatever (just learning about all the items needed at the moment )
the inner is a personal preference, I prefer minkee as it stays soft, doesn't bobble or stain (cuddlesoft is the same only cheaper) As for inserts, yes you will need some, I like petite dessous bamboo on top of easy peasy hemp, that is a really good combo HTH xx
the fleece or minkee inner is the stay dry lining, I prefer minkee as it is softer than fleece
you will also need some inserts but can use any brand, i like blueberry combo inserts which are hemp and microfibre. check out the thread on different materials to give you some idea about absorbency viewtopic.php?f=23&t=15576
I always go for cuddlesoft, it's basically the same as minkee (doesn't show signs of wear or stains, like fleece does) but no extra charge . I do think fleece keeps the bum slightly drier, though, if that's a concern for you - minkee/cuddlesoft is stay-dry, but not quite as stay-dry as fleece, IMO!
Now moving onto the inserts.... i know you have recommended other makes but if I am looking at them on the weenotions site (or trying to look for them) am I right in thinking they are not nappy liners? I cant find inserts only boosters?!
I think I will need a gin to continue my shopping......
WeeNotions haven't done inserts for a while since they changed the pattern for the pocket nappies hence why we all use different inserts for them. Sidesnap inserts have recently been added to the shop though here.
My this is becoming difficult so i have the choice of 4 or 6 layers?!! and bamboo or bamboo & microfibre top layer ....... any thoughts??? HA at this rate my trolley will have been taken off me and I will be kicked out the shop!
