Brown marble and turquiose sounds good, or maybe cream on the back and turquiose on the front, I've just had a nappy with some cream in the applique and it's quite a yellowy cream so would look lovely with the turquiose on the embroidery.

i was going to say cream but i like natalie's idea better!!
