i've already tried: bamboozles, bambineos, fluffles, bumbles, stuffies (still have one for sale so will give that another go), huggles (L and XL - XL might be an option but they are SO big!!) and loads more that i can't even remember. haven't tried a bambeasy but have a similar WAHM nappy that works well for faith.

other option i was thinking would be to see if Suzanne @ WN would make up an XL night notions with a sewn in booster as well as the loose booster. this would surely work.

also considering a jumblebums jiant but not sure if i want to go down the nippa route. will wait til the bamboo ones come out.

I use a mix of Stuffies, bumbles (but thinking to sell them to fund a Night Notions as they are getting a little small!), huggle and Baby Beehinds Bamboo. What ever I'm using I stuff with loads of hemp, hemp acts like long term storage and if for whatever reason I've not put any in he is always much wetter. I stuff with up to 8 layers of hemp plus the nappy with 3 layers of mf on top. Could you add 1 extra hemp booster and see if that helps as that wouldn't add to the bulk too much?

thanks for the offer: are they any good for nights?? poppysmum is also looking for large phoenix nappies as they are the only ones that are fitting poppy at the moment.

finding boosting between nappy and wrap difficult as i use longies (though i can always use a large couche cover under the longies) and think i would struggle to fit much more in. other thing i thought would be to nippa a terry over the top and boost a little more on the outside.

tonight have put josh to bed with a large puddlepants weedie with a bamboo terry (folded so there are a lot of layers at the front) then a cotton babies insert under that (only because i have a lot of these!) and a large ellas house insert under that folded towards the front.

will report back in the morning!! ha ha!!

My dd1 was a heavy wtter and it did work i used to stuff it with the insert and then a terry nappy inside it.

sounds good - can i give it a try??

have ordered a couple of babeco bamboo night boosters as you can never have too many boosters IMO!! haven't tried them but with 8 layers of bamboo, they can't be bad - even if they do take an AGE to dry!!

his nappy combo last night didn't leak but was still fairly soaked this morning (though maybe as good as it gets for now!!). was the combo i said last night (weedie, bamboo terry, cotton babies insert, ellas house hemp insert) but forgot to mention there was also a 3 layer bamboo insert in there too!!

tonight is gonna be the huggle + hollow oak night booster again and will assess how good that is (hubby changed it the last time).

jackie x
