That is a shame as those LLS NN worked perfectly for R. Well I'd like to thank them for the lovely nappies I already have.

Oh no  I just ordered my first wrap from them on wednesday and exchanged emails with Amber as needed it made to measure as were having problems getting wraps to fit Catrin at the moment, really wanted to try some of their pockets too. Is very sad to see a local WAHM company close.

Hi,

I am Fiona, founder and owner of Upsy Daisy Nappies.

Basically, I have always operated as a sole trader and therefore have solely financed the business from the first day. There are a number of factors that has led to the decision to close but, primarily, it is the changing trends in the industry and the huge drop in orders. For a while we seemed to be leading the market in custom embroidered pocket nappies, along with the likes of Wee Notions, but we have seen a downturn in the popularity of such products in favour of others and it is very expensive to keep up. For instance, I made a large investment in soy french terry due to it's popularity but now have redundant rolls due to other fabrics now being favoured.

We suffered severe damage to our website toward the end of last year and have found it difficult to recover from the ensuing libellous public comments from a small group of people (no-one on here  ).

The bottom line is, that the business has cost my family dearly and I can no longer afford to fund the business with my own (rather my family's) money when there has been such a huge drop in interest in our products.

I am hoping that Amber and I can continue on a very low key basis but this is still under discussion.

I would like to have put this all in an email to our customers but this functionality no longer works on the shop so we have to use alternative methods. I was going to post on here this evening but someone obviously beat me to it!

Fi x
