We have a set of those plastic drawers with all the wraps and pockets in, baskets on shelves with the fitted nappies in (liners, wipes etc!) and a big (laundry basket thing!) that all the stuffings/inserts are kept in!

I have loads (and I mean loads) of nappies and stuff and they all fit nicely and neatly away in a small area!

another good idea are those storage units that are for toys (like big pidgeon hole units that you put plastic tubs in each section) you'd get loads in one of those (we have them but for toys!)

We used to keep ours in a wicker laudry basket by the changing nit and the inserts and wipes etc in smaller baskets next to it...howeverr, now Poppy is mobile she likes to empty the basket of nappies all over her room if we dont get her up straight away...so last weekend we went to Argos and brought this....

Now all the nappies are in sets in the drawers...

1 Drawer for Workhorse nappies
1 Drawer for "showy nappies " lol
1 Drawer full of inserts etc
1 Drawer for Night Nappies

Then the pretty baskets u can see on top have Poppys wool and wipes etc stores in them

Its great as it sits on a piece of wastes space in her little box room....

Aside from night nappies, all my nappies are downstairs as we do most changes downstairs.

My pretty nappies are in what was once a stereo cabinet. This means I can see my gorgeous fluff  The other nappies are kept in a lidded wicker laundry basket beside the sofa, with all boosters and fleece liners etc.

All my night nappies basically live on an over radiator airer as they are only just dry as I need them.

Spare bits and pieces that don't really get used live in a nappy stacker in the babies bedroom.

We have a big plastic box (that was bought at instore). It comes about to my knee height. We keep all the nappies in there. On top of the box we have a changing mat which is actually the length of the box. So we change her on top of her nappy box in the bathroom.

Oooooh I like the one with 4 pink drawers from Argos... Although DH would have a fit if I came home with that! :D
Anna's room is not that small but doesnt have a lot of wall space (too many inbuilt wardrobes which are already filled) so wouldnt have anywhere to put it :(

But I guess the one hanging from the door is also quite handy - except that it would hide all my nappies behind the door :? I've only just bought them - do I really want to have them out of sight completely already??? Unless I put it on the OUTSIDE of the door instead of behind... that way I'd still see them everytime I walk past...! Or hang it from one of the wardrobe doors... Ooooh I'm starting to like that 8)

Mabo - great thread!!!! :D :D :D

In the early days we changed him in our room (downstairs was a building site so not an option! ) and I had an Ikea unit with stacks of nappies under neath and then the top drawer next to the unit with wipes etc. plus a hanging nappy stacker that mil made for me to match the cot tidy and his play mat.

For the last while (maybe a year now??) we have had a unit in our bathroom with 2 cupboards at the bottom with 2 drawers on top and his change mat on top of that and I store everything in there. I've also not made wipe mix since as I have the warm water right next to me so he gets wiped with that!! Doesn't bother me going upstairs! :D
