DH's emergency night nappy...

Our washing machine is broken again (2 weeks and counting ) and SAHD DH had to improvise a night nappy on Thursday (it was that or a sposie overnight). We usually use a minki with 2 or 3 EP and a PD or a FFN with an EP hemp.

This is what he came up with:
A cotton nippa size 2 Tots bots with
a Blueberry mf and hemp combo insert, A guerilla fluff snap in bit and and EP hemp all under the flap
and a MEOS booster outside the nappy all covered with a ME airflow.

Ewan had a very big bum

At least he didn't just stick the Tots on his bum and ignore any boosting My DH still asks me about night nappies (every night ) and he was a SAHD for 18 months.

He's actually very good with nappies, though he has his own names for each of them....

our WNNL is 'that monkey nappy'
the FFN is 'that green-y velour-y one'
the Ooga DnF is 'the monster one'
The Guerilla fluffs he names by the pattern (though not always the obvious bit of the pattern )!
And he can stuff a BG with the bamboo on top and the EP ' furthest from Ewan's bum' as he puts it.

My only complaint is that he doesn't like using wool and he doesn't nippa the morning Tots Bots (known here as the poo catcher ) tightly enough but he is the SAHD so he has to deal with the consequences of that

Ugh, my DH was very good at using wool - I left him with little choice when I sold all the pockets - but if a nappy leaked poo onto the wool, it was left in the sink in the bathroom for me to deal with when I got hoome

DH knows better than to do that
