Elastic in nappies

Postby Charlootle » Tue Feb 09, 2010 8:00 pm

DS is being investigated for latex allergy and has a couple of reactions both to latex gloves at the dentist and to a born free trainer cup with a rubber teat. I'm guessing the elastic round the legs of cloth nappies isn't the rubber band type but just wondered if anyone knew? I don't fancy cutting into my new nappies to find out! Obviously it is covered in fabric anyway. If anyone knows anymore about it I'd appreciate it, thanks in advance :)

which nappies are they?

the best way to find out is to contact the manufacturer - they should be able to tell you more

I've got bumgenius and tots bots. You're right, its prob best to find out from manufacturers, I mean as any elastic is covered it shouldn't be a problem but its hard to know. Thanks for your reply :)
