Elastic in nappies

DS is being investigated for latex allergy and has a couple of reactions both to latex gloves at the dentist and to a born free trainer cup with a rubber teat. I'm guessing the elastic round the legs of cloth nappies isn't the rubber band type but just wondered if anyone knew? I don't fancy cutting into my new nappies to find out! Obviously it is covered in fabric anyway. If anyone knows anymore about it I'd appreciate it, thanks in advance

the best way to find out is to contact the manufacturer - they should be able to tell you more

I've got bumgenius and tots bots. You're right, its prob best to find out from manufacturers, I mean as any elastic is covered it shouldn't be a problem but its hard to know. Thanks for your reply

The elastic in most cloth nappies is lastin.
