I have done some googling and can't quite figure out what the deal is with them. Are they just like mothercare smart nappies? Has anyone tried them? :-?

I have some, the hammock bit poppers out which the MC Smart nappy doesn't. The outer is a lovely cotton jersey and rib cotton leg cuffs. The pouch/hammock holds in the wee and poo and you don't get wicking.

You can stuff them with anything - I used mf cloths with a liner. I can't recall if they do their own washable inserts. There disposable inserts are flushable, but you have to tear them up and swish them with a stick (provided with the nappies!) so they break down. They claim with the flush insert to have least environmental impact of any nappy.

The weeny pouch pants that lollipop used to do and bg flip are similar. BG flip dispoable inserts are not flushable, and not sure about mc ones. I have two friend who tried mc smart nappies, one loved them, one hated them as they always leaked

g diapers do up at the back which is quie cute

Hi,
I'm a bit new to all this (cloth nappies and this forum!). I started off a few weeks ago buying a random selection from a lady in our local newspaper and a few of them were g diapers. I've just been stuffing them with other inserts. I have to say I'm a huge fan of them. I've never had any wicking and the plastic bit inside is a very quick wipe wash/dry. They have been the only thing that have contained the explosive diarrhoea we had with norovirus last week. The cotton outer is lovely as well, I've only got orange and beige. It dries quickly and looks new even though they were used for a couple of babies before i got my hands on it.

The only problem I have is they are all a size medium and my not so little 9 month has pretty much out grown them. Have you found them for sale in the UK? If so I'd love to know where, I'm going to miss that cute orange nappy, I don't feel i've got my moneys worth yet - it's a good excuse to have more babies though...
