Help with estimating longie measurements for a 2 yr old!

Sooooo, we have some Neels longies which are unbelievably gorgeous..(Mummymel and anyone else with the angora mix fawn longies will agree!) and I've managed to nab the last bit of yarn for a bigger pair of longies for Phoebe.

Thing is, I'm thinking it will be best to get them so they will fit next winter, she can wear them folded up if they are too long to start with. But what size?

I'm thinking 19" rise, 18" waist, 23" hips and 10" inseam.

Anyone with a fairly petite 2yr old girl help with sharing their measurements?

I've just knitted some for Rebecca (similar age) with a 20" rise and 11" inseam. They are big now, but OK with hem rolled and I am hoping they'll fit next winter. I finished some before Christmas that had 19" rise and 10" inseam and they only just fit now, so I guess not too much wear left in them. Rebecca is petite and still fits mostly 12-18 month clothes and some 9-12 tops. I guess it all depends on how much you have to boost next year? Leg length can be quite flexible as Phoebe could wear them as crops if necessary. Hope that helps,

Sue

I would go for a bit more rise, in case you have to go into bigger/different nappies which might have a higher rise. Katie is only small but she has a massive rise

And maybe a bit more on the legs if there's enough wool, but I don't make that many pairs with inseam longer than 10" tbh.

Hmm, so maybe a 20" rise and 10" leg would be good.

Thanks everyone!

Nic, I was going to ask you directly as I would say that Evie is probably a similar build to Phoebe (but obviously a year or so on!), but thought I'd get a few more opinions too. But if you say that should be fine, then I'll go for that!
