What fabric do you prefer for inserts (or in general for diapers) between bamboo and hemp? Which do you think is better and why?

I like bamboo because I can use it on it's own and is relatively slim whereas hemp needs something quick soaking on top to make it work properly.

I swear by greenkids bamboo inserts in all our pocket nappies.

Bamboo cos it can be used on its own. I use either greenkids bamboos in greenkids or ptits dessous ones in WN or PBPDs.

bamboo i just dont like hemp its weird

I like a mix of both - probably bamboo a bit more though

Bamboo, just because it stays soft whereas i find after a few washer hemp goes a bit cardboardy

I like both, I would always use them with Microfibre anyway. I wouldn't have hemp full nappies tho I guess, but any crunchiness can be got rid of by a wring out of the insert once dry. Green kids bamboo insers are great
