Easiest way to de-fluff Aplix?

tweezers or a pin are the only things I've tried.

I bought a set (these were plastic throw away combs not the metal style which would prob work even better) which had 2 free when Elspeth started school and haven't used any except for defluffing the nappies thank goodness. These fine combs work really well
