We currently use an imse vimse large swim nappy with a large happy nappy one over the top.we're due to start water babies classes soon and they specify a cotton swim nappy.anyone know what they mean?i would have thought anything cotton would be absorbent and get too heavy?

We used to have a cotton one by Cotton Tots - it was very similar to a very thin cotton wrap with a mesh liner inside. In the pool, no nappy will hold in wee, they are mainly used to contain #2's so thats why the cotton ones are so light.

we have this one, as recommended to us by a lovely lady on here :wine:

and we wear a splash about baby snug over the top (same containment as a happy nappy). We too start waterbabies in two weeks and I've double checked with the organisers and they are more than happy with that combo.
