Mum's with more than 1 lo in cloth....

how on earth do u cope????!!!
I'm doing endless nappy washes as the bamboo takes an absolute age to dry and each lo's nappy consists of a hemp & bamboo, so by the end of the day the bucket has atleast 10 nappies (plus 20 hemp/bamboo boosters!) in it and is ready to be washed!!
Think I'm just going to use a nappy with a wrap for the time being but am so considering a break!

Edited for poor spelling/grammar lol

I was lucky enough to have enough nappies between mine that I could wash every other day and still have some spare. Mine were in pockets (dd) and Tots/ME wraps (ds) all of which dried really quickly....I'd stick them on the radiators over night in the winter (and then 10 mins in the dryer for the tots) or washing line in the summer and never seemed to have a problem.

If you're finding it all too much, have a little break from it :)

I would put them into their night nappies and to bed, then straight away po the nappies in to wash, they would be hanging to dry before I went to bed and therefore dry and ready to use again by morning.

I had 3 in full time cloth at 1 point, so I often had 2 nappy washes a night to get through between putting the kids to bed and going myself!

Once you get into the routine with it it gets easy

hmmm i got waaaay to many nappies so hope to be ok. the plan is to also use some prefolds now and then as they dry quite quickly. but as amber said hun, don't feel bad if u want a day off or even a few hours to catch up. here i still have nb sposies from t and if i find it's getting to me in the early days i'll happily put the baby in one for a few hours so i can catch up. luckily taliesin isn't a heavy wetter atm and is only going thru about 4 nappies a day. i am guilty of using a tumble dryer too though

I was another with three in cloth for a while. I mainly used pockets and thankfully had enough so that I only had to wash every other day (most of the time). Might be worth buying a few more to save your sanity slightly!

I think thats the problem, we use bamboo fitteds as the lo's are heavy wetters so need boosting if using wool - they get a rash from pockets, so am going to try a disposible liner with a sandy's and a ME wrap and go from there.
Thanks

I've had to start washing them every night instead of every other night, and I bought more. I only use fitteds on DD1, but have started with pockets on DD2 so they dry quicker. I have had to use the tumble dryer since I've had two in cloth though - balance between buying more or putting on the dryer occasionally....
