TMI exploding nappies to soak or not

Lucas is teething and has the most disgusting nappies no amount of liners is contaning it and my nappies are getting stained should i soak them first. Did a wash last night and dont want to leave this mornings nappy till tomorrow night . We are doing 5 horrid nappies a day.

I would put them on a rinse and then wash as normal. I've never soaked.

Do i rinse before a wash does that help with staining

I always rinse a bad nappy off if it can't go in the machine in the next couple of hours, but no I never soak them. And I always run a cold rinse cycle on them before I wash them

Kieren has been the same lately and tbh i just put them in the wetbag and then wash them...I always do a seperate rinse before setting the machine to wash and if they are particularly bad then i do 2 rinses and then a wash (always wash at 60c).

I make sure that i empty the filter on my machone regularly too as it gets nasty

ETA to clarrify i do a cold rinse then wash at 60c.

I always do a cold rinse on my nappies, especially for those nasty ones! Getting them out on the line in the sun should help with any staining too. Kate
