We've moved to terries and wool! The nappies weren't coming clean at 60 (they had previously) - I guess her teething wee is battery acid strength
Sooo - to avoid killing my nappies, I've bought some terries and can wash them at 95 - they also dry in super quick time - which is a bonus as it was taking me 24 hours to wash and dry the nappies with the amount of rinsing I had to do. I'm sticking a hemp insert into the front of the fold, and they are doing a great job of keeping her really dry
She still has her enormous fleece liners hanging out the sides most attractive - and she's teething like mad this week and has patchy rashes all over her - not restricted to her nappy area, but nothing like previously.
I was going to try barley water, but messed up by not washing the barley first and then boiling the hell out of it - so wil have another go at that next week.
What is it with these modern babies - DS was in bambino mios and we never had any problems
