Postby zoeyboo » Mon May 17, 2010 7:14 pm

Hi ladies,

I am all out of foaming wipes solution & have 2 bottle of NE Concentrate ... problem is it says to make it up you need distilled water & I can't seem to get any :( Tried Boots, Lloyds Chemist, Holland & Barratt & Tesco ... what can I do? Where can I get some?

I'm pretty sure you can buy distilled water in garages (I think you need it for old car batteries or am I going mad?) Or Halfords maybe?

We don't have a Wilkinsons :( DH looked in Halfords & they have de-ionised water but apparently this isn't the same thing...

Not sure what the difference is or why I need it ... can I used cooled boiled water or bottled water perhaps?

I'm sure the deionised stuff is pretty much the same? I would use cooled boiled though personally

Hmmm, sounds like a faff and don't have any suitable equipment ... would it be ok to just use boiled water? I know it's not distilled, but will that cause a problem? Not sure why it even needs to be distilled water? Would the de-ionised be ok do you think?
