OMG I can't believe I......

put a nappy in the rubbish bin instead of the nappy bin! I found it this morning with a teabag sat on it

DH just laughed at me and definitely did not understand the seriousness of the situation. I have washed it and even sprayed vanish which I would not normally do but the brown mark is still there

Oops! Try putting it out on the washing line when damp. I'm always amazed at how well the sun gets stains out!

old habits die hard. Thank goodness you found it. A couple of days on the line, especially in this wet weather should sort out the stain

Oh dear - tannin (the brown stuff in tea) is a very stubborn stain too... FC sunlight sorts it for you

Thanks so much for your support ladies in my time of need Well I managed to get the stain down to a very faint one and it's only on the inside of the tabs so you can't see when it's on. It is a lovely obv dyed hollow oak and I still can't believe I did it!!!
