newborn nappies advice and inspiration

Postby angiepangie2809 » Sun Jun 13, 2010 1:19 pm

hi all.
was wondering what newborn nappies you all used. i have lots of size 1's but i would prefer some newborn sizes this time too as bubs will be going straight into cloth as soon as we get out of hospital.

what did you use?
what was your faves?
that includes wraps too.

i saw the newborn cloth nappy reviews but to be honest there isnt many on there and i could do with some more inspiration.

thanks

we've not tried too many yet, but small wnss, nb fluff n stuff, nb swaddlebees are fab, but my fav so far is the nb mutt, very trim, stretchy, and only 2 snaps to do up :D still very early days, will do lots of reviews when I get the chance

On Kieren i used~

Diddy diapers...they were fine but i just didnt really like them
cotton sandies...i liked these :) would like to try the bamboo
XS and S thirsties fab fitteds...i loved these!! Was so sad to see them go when he outgrew them!
bamboo lovables...i liked these and they were a much nicer fit than diddy diapers although similar
prefolds...love them nippa'd
kissaluvs...useless
bamboo little lambs...loved them :)

wraps~
cotton bottoms...hated them.
Airflows...loved them :)
XS and S thirsties wraps...i loved these best of all and would have carried on using them had we not switched to full time wool :)

I think thats about all i had with kieren :) with Megan i used BG's from about 3 weeks and they were fine :)

I got sent a nb dunk n fluff accidently by Tami & it was sooooooo cute. It was a struggle to send it back. Think every newborn should have one

we used xs sandies, bimbles, bambeasys, a fair few HC newborn fitteds. XS WN wraps were a lovely fit for when fresh! We used wool after a week.

I used bg's on my son from 6 weeks and they were fine, especially with only the newborn insert
