I must be honest that I've been very lucky with all my swaps, and nothing has gone wrong with any of them, but I do tend to only swap either with people who are regular members here, or people I have traded with before and trust already.

I would definitely say leave feedback though so that other people are warned.

Oh no, that's not good :( so far I've not had any problems with swaps - *touch wood*, I've always received something in return. It does make you wary though doesnt it :(

I've just found another thread on the boards about one of my problem 'swappers', only this time about a failed sale.
After numerous unopened pm's and then contacting the mods, the buyer eventually raised a dispute and was refunded, but the 'seller' still hasn't been online...

Was that a very recent thread? I do wonder if something happened that woman :-? Shame you have had such bad experiences. Their behaviour is not fair on those of us who are genuine.

I was thinking that too - wonder of something has happened. I have met the woman (once) Mel referred to and I am assuming the recent thread you are referring to is the same one I saw. Have to admit, I did think it odd :-?

I have never had any problems so far. However, its really sad. But I guess you are not protected on here from people like that, even though it feels like you trust everyone.

its a sad world :(

It's lovely to get so many good responses from my CNT friends on here. I really appreciate it, all of you.

I've been in touch with a couple of mods now and hopefully they can work out what's going on - I'd never wish anything bad of anyone, so I hope there's just been an oversight/lost in the post situation rather than anything more sinister/fraudulent...
