How do you strip nappies?

Postby irishmel » Fri Jun 25, 2010 7:59 pm

It has been suggested to me that my fuzzi bunz and tots bots pockets may need stripping, but I have no idea what that means/entails? If anyone has a spare second to fill me in, I'd be grateful. I have tried using the search engine, but can't see anything. Cheers.

We have a whole section of the board dedicated to washing cloth nappies ;)
Here: viewforum.php?f=19

There are two threads about stripping nappies at the top of that board:

and

Cheers, feared it may be far more technical than washing them a different way! I don't have a cold rinse on my machine, but have recently cleaned the machine and pulled all the baby wipes that had got caught in the pipes out, so it should be working better. I always use the long 40 cycle with powder and throw them one the odd 60 and occasionally do an extra cold wash in lieu of a rinse, so I guess I have sort of stripped them already. I will try the dishwasher tablet idea though!!
Thanks again for taking the time.
