Thinking fuzzibunz should work as they came with 1 MF insert
Not getting why people had pretty fitteds
Not getting all the jargon, especially wicking
Not getting how wool or fleece could work
Thinking I'd get one special weenotion pocket, just one, lol

hahaha, great thread, I am clearly still 'new to cloth' as some of these comments I could still agree with... don't understand wool or fleece and I think I have enough nappies til potty training, and thinking washables are going to save me money... I have a lot to learn!! :hohoho:

Thinking that the under half price fluffles in tk maxx were still really expensive (my excuse is that I also got a sack of 20 cotton tots with 5 wraps for £20 that day - which I hated and sold all but 5 new on ebay for a huge profit that I spent at kittykins! :giggle: )
Thinking pretty fitteds were a waste of money
Being sure that all of the women on CNT who sometimes spent over £20 on a nappy needed their heads checking

Thinking wool was weird and how on earth could that work? now hes in wool 50% off the time
wondering why you want pretty fitteds
thinking 20 nappies was enough, now i have tons
feeling sick after spending £30 on one nappy

Lucas in his forst cloth nappy - which was...... a folded cotton terry square, with a nappy PIN with a pair of pull op plastic pants over the top :D :D

Having a pile of ready folded terry squares in the nursery for him :D

Getting the internet and browsing for 'nappy covers' because I disliked the pull up pants, only to then have my eyes opened into the world of cloth..

I actually really liked using folded terrys on a newborn and once I had bought some proper wraps (a few motherease and some naturebabies!), I was truly happy with that for a little while..

Buying a HUGE box of 100 factory seconds Little Lamb nappies, finding I liked them better then terrys, selling a lot of them on ebay for a profit which covered my costs for more wraps

The first time I ventured into pocket nappies (fuzzi bunz)

I only ever used terrys, little lambs and fuzzis on Lucas, I tried a couple of others but didn't like them so I stuck to thise and believe it or not, I was perfectly happy with them!

The girls however.. were a different matter entirely :giggle: :hohoho:

So many funny ones lol at the £20 on a nappy, I thought pretty nappys were silly as they are just for pooing in at the end of the day ha ha how wrong I was

Placing my first nappies out in their draw (HIDDEN AWAY DRAW?!) before LIly arrived thinking that's how I would keep them the whole time I use them and that I would simply place the insert inside the nappy while she was being changed and lovingly arrange it on her bum in a slow 'I've got all the time in the world' style, now if I'm behind I have piles of inserts everywhere (not to be told to possible nappy converts) :giggle:

Using only the wipes for the first week or so
Having one bucket in the living room where we used to change her :giggle:
Comparing the lack of bin bags to next door who uses sposies :wine:
