How to remove poo stains on pocket nappies?

Someone has been kind enough to give me a load of used pocket nappies for me to try. However, there is quite a lot of staining on them all (the white bit that catches poo/wee). How would I go about cleaning these nappies to the extent that I can remove poo stains?

I am a complete novice to cloth nappies so don't want to damage the nappies but would like to remove the stains.

Thanks.

Try hanging them up on a washing line on a really sunny day. Seriously! You'd be amazed at how effective sunlight is at removing poo stains from nappies.

First give them a wash with a full dose of Ariel Bio and then do a few rinses...
And then Sunshine - lots of sunshine :)
Put them in the sun (wet) and keep them wet all the time they're in the sun (important as the sun power for stains doesn't work on dry ones) and it should sun out...

Deffo wash them, rinse, rinse, rinse and get them out on the line wet....its miraculous but the uv rays feom the sun help get rid of protien based stains ie food/drink/body fluids. Give it a try x
