How long are you going away for?
I have used cloth without needing to wash for 1 week away. simply took my 2 large wet bags and put the nappies in those, then washed when I got home. It was easy to do. only issue is my baby had the biggest suitcase :giggle:
I've also used cloth whilst camping, that was only a weekend away though, you could do the same thing. I also handwashed the wet nappies and pegged them to the tent ropes to dry.

If you really want to use cloth whilst away it is very doable, just requires a bit of planning and a big suitcase :giggle:

The baby is definitely going to have the biggest case! This will be our first holiday with a baby and we were already wondering how we were going to fit all his stuff in but i'm sure we will manage.

Thanks for offering to send a moltex nappy but first size wont fit - he is a big baby and already weighs 15lb! I've found another site that sell sample packs of 4 nappies for £3 so I think I will get one of them so we can see if he is ok with them.

Thanks for all your advice

We went to menorca for a week last month and took a couple of pockets, a couple of wraps and 2 flip covers, we used Flip disposable inserts inside the pockets and laid them inside the wraps/ covers.

They were fab, each one lasted 3hrs and no rashes, we put 2 inside a Little lamb wrap for night times and no leaks at all, They are £3.75 a pack and we took 2 1/2 packs and this lasted us the whole week for our 5 month old little girl. They are made from bamboo and are biodegradable. Might be worth a try?, we came home with 2 handwashed pocket nappies and 4 wraps so no wetbags or extra suitcases needed

TIP: Even tho they are fine to go against babies bum i did still use paper liners to catch poops so the wraps were easier to wash.
