are we basically talking prettys here?? Im into functionality, not asthetics. Im not sure all these colours and patterns are good for reducing our over consumeristic tendancies.

I see some have side poppers, does this make them less adjustable? they are also sized, I quite like the fact that bgs can get bigger and smaller!

Sorry that did come across a bit holier than thou. Im just not into pretty!!

OS is one size.

With regard to negatives of BGs, I find microfibre inserts a bit naff, so I use different inserts, which pushes up the over all price of the nappy and leaves me with a pile of unused MF inserts.

And, if the environment is a big driving factor in your cloth use you should also consider the airmiles of the nappies, they're made in the US so they have to travel a long way to get to you. There are lots of UK or other EU made nappies that have to travel a much shorter distance.
