well, nor have i actually. i just thought i'd best double check. my flexi tots have gone a bit bald, and on facebook i was told to contact tots about it, they said they reccommend non bio for there nappies coz of this eating o0f the bamboo or of course there own powder. i only use a desertspoon of powder in each wash it's not like i make a smoothie of the washing powder and pour it on. i did mention that don't most other countries mainly have bio, and i didn't get an answer. they are sending me a bag to send one of these bald flexi's back. shame, i do love them. the squishiest nappies i own!

I have never heard anything so ridiculous. The UK is one of the few countries in the world that manufacture non-bio. In most counties bio is the norm. For example, in the USA most washing powders are bio, but Tots still sell nappies over there! My gut feeling is that it is tots trying to pass the blame onto you. I bet if you'd said you washed them in Potion they'd have asked what temp, etc etc until they found something that they could blame you for. They are responsible for their faulty product. They do not specify on the washing instructions on the label in the nappy that they must be washed in non-bio (because it is a lie!) so they are in the wrong. Get them to replace them and don't take no for an answer.
