My weenotions leaked :(

Put Will in his spidey weenotion this morning and then we both went and had a snooze, unfortuantly I woke to a wet cold patch beside me. It wasn't a little leak either it was about the size of a bread and butter plate
It was stuffed with 2 terry inserts and a hemp booster. The same stuffing would last in a GK for 4 hours and he wasn't even in it for 2.5hours. The first wear of it, it lasted 5 hours (we were out and in the car) so I dont know what went wrong. Did not go down well with Bren (William was laying on his side of the bed) especially as I was trying to convience him we 'needed' more.

Was William laying on his side? The reason I ask this is we sometime get leaks when Kayleigh sleeps on her side (thought that is getting rarer now) because the wee hasn't touched the booster. We noticed this was particularly bad if she wore a disposable and lay on a foam mattress.

Just wondering if it was overstuffed and was a little gapey around his little legs so when he peed it came out the side before it had the chance to absorb? I changed the inserts for my WNs a few days ago to a GAD mf insert and an easy peasy terry booster and it leaked badly so resorted back to the norm which is the Cotton Babies mf insert and an easy peasy hemp booster and no leaks with this combo.
Am sure Bren was not pleased to find wee on his side of the bed - but look on the bright side, at least it wasnt on yours

No he was flat on his back and it wasn't leaking out the leg wholes but straight through the back.
