 maybe they should have invited us along then!!!

My brother put me into a mini panic tonight, he phoned and shouted down the phone 'quick Jan, put BBC1 on', I panicked and did as he said and he said in a chuffed voice 'cloth nappies on the telly'

:hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho:

Wow, amazing to see the difference in attitudes with the councils, especially considering we are so close to Cheshire. I would love to persuade Stockport to do something like that but they just always respond with "sorry we have no money"

Good to see cloth getting some publicity though :D

just read the blurb on the link! this actually made me snort :hohoho:

'highlighting how re-usab;e nappies can be as stylish as disposables'

WTF is stylish about a disposable nappy????

mmmmmmm, maybe the saggy, showing the bum crack look of over soaked gel? or perhaps the chemical smell from a freshly weed in sposie? or even, the sagging down one leg of the trousers look that happens when said disposable is nice and squishy will all that lurvely gel and the poppers of the vest send it off in one direction?

:hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho: :hohoho:

At least something in the news is better than nothing, but something more funky would have been better 8-)

While its always great to have them shown in a good light tbh if I was watching that on TV the nappies which were shown wouldnt make me want to use cloth - there was one nappy that reached the toddlers knees! In saying that isnt it great that the lady from the council raised the issue about what is in sposies, so perhaps giving parents a different reason to look at cloth instead of 'just' the environmental impact of sposies.

Off my soap box now :D Sadie xx
