Why??????

Postby anya1973 » Tue Apr 29, 2008 8:04 pm

do babies always poo in the brand new nappy that you put on them?

I got my first Wee Notions order today (four nappies and some bamboo inserts).

I held off all day using them as the inserts were being washed. But gave in just before bathtime. Popped a couple of microfibre inserts in one of the nappies just to see what it fitted like and yes, you've guessed it - he did a poo in it about 10 minutes later!!

It's been washed though and is as we speak drying on the airer ready for tomorrow.

It's like they know that they have a brand new nappy on.

if i ever had a problem of a constipated baby, i would immediately buy a really gorgeous new nappy, have it sent 1st class immediately and shove it on their bum as soon as it arrives...and i think it is probably the quickest most comfortable and least intrusive way of getting a baby to poo!!!

Tee hee! Now that *has* to be the very best excuse I have ever heard to justify a brand new nappy.

My son is very very very constipated you know.

New nappies - for medicinal purposes of course.

Guaranteed, Charlotte will always poo in a new nappy - I think she knows it needs a thorough testing
