Don't know much about prefolds tbh!! I'm VERY lazy when it comes to nappies though!!!

IKWYM about toilet training too. DD was 21months and fully dry in the day, I just cant see Ruairidh being like that in 4 months! He walked 5.5months after her so I think I'll add 5.5months onto everything to get a rough estimate

I personally would get another few nappies even if its terries or prefolds for those just incase times.

Would be suprised if this one was huge- Kai was in small minki til he PL!! lol!!

Do have terries & a few random Minki's (4 small i think & 2 newborn) - have thought about getting some small Itti's as they were great on Elsie when she was small... Still praying for a light wetter like Kai!! :giggle:

I do have a dryer so the TotsBots are great in that respect....

Since I have two in nappies, I could easily drop half of my stash (or even more), since I wash all the time! :giggle:

Another vote for getting some terries for the little one - I personally found them a better, more comfortable fit when Roman was little little, and they wash and dry VERY quickly, so you don't get as behind as you can trying to dry the AIOs or the pocket stuffers - I still use them for stuffing a quite often actually. I'm going to get a stack more (cheap as chips on magical ebay) and tie dye them, for awesomeness.

Then I'm going to brave some wool longies :D

I didn't have a dryer but struggled with 2 in cloth and a stash of about 30. Much easier when I upped it to 40... but if you have a dryer then you might be ok. I'd still grab some more though- easyfits might cost more now, but if Elsie potty trains soon after baby is born you can sell on what you don't need?

I have terries here anyway- use them for my pockets (split them in half & stitched together) & still have brand new ones left over from Kai 4yrs ago!! :giggle:

Never really got on with them though - found them a hassle (told you i'm lazy!! )

Tory- how do prefolds work...? Do you use wraps or can you use wool..?

Have all Elsie's wool still that fits her fine- bubs has one pair here & 2 pairs being knitted (in the Sea Foam i got from you actually! lol!!) & i have fleece longies & soakers too....

Prefolds can either be pad folded and laid into a wrap (super super easy...even my hubby gets that bit right!) and you can nippa them and use woolies/wraps...I use a mix of both normally, although Kieren is out of wool now...

Here is a link to some folds~

They are so easy once you give it a go and they are super cheap nappies so a great way to boost the stash without spending loads...Nippa'd would be better on a NB/small baby becuase of containment...Kieren is now in 100% pad folded prefolds and pul wraps...just works better for him and i find it so simple...I just make sure all the prefolds are pad folded on the shelf ready to go (just like already stuffing pockets/putting snap ins into fitteds etc) and then they are ready to go :)

Thanks for that Tory- does seem like a good idea for boosting a stash as you say.... WE never got on with pul wraps which has been our only problem, but this baby may be different!!

I have some swaddlebees fleece wraps that i intend to use over prefolds with bump :) You can get them at babykind...i got mine new of classifieds on here for £3 each! bargain!

ETA and tots fleece wraps too!
ETAA, i do have time to find the link atm but i have also knitted some covers...its a super easy pattern although i think they will be better for over nippa'd prefolds since wool covers tend to sack off a little more than fleece IYKWIM? i posted a pic of one recently on the knitters progress thread with a link to the pattern :)
