 Welcome to the tree!

OK, I could be entirely wrong. But looking at the picture of those nappies, they seem to be pockets and not AIOs. (If you blow the picture up and look at the back of the orange nappy, I think you can see that there's an opening there.) Looking at the listing, there's no insert included with the nappy; so you're paying just for the shells and nothing absorbent. It's probably worth emailing the seller and asking for clarification of what the listing is actually for - AIO or pocket and, if pocket, whether an insert is included. They are exceptionally cheap and this could be why. Or, of course, I might be talking rubbish. :giggle:

Yes there is nothing that will absorb there so i too am thinking they are pocket nappies which is just the outter shell and you will need to buy something seperate to put inside them to absorb...I would email the seller and clarrify...

Insert costs depend on what you're after. And what you're after depends on the age of your bub and how heavily s/he wets. You can pick up proper nappy inserts either new or second hand (have you found the classifieds here yet? ). Microfibre tends to be the cheapest insert, but least absorbent. Hemp and bamboo are more expensive but much more absorbent. You can stuff whatever you want in a pocket nappy - terry squares or even tea towels will work. They just might not work that well or for that long. It's a case of trial and error on the right combo for your LO. :)

No a liner (usually fleece or minkee) will just keep your baby dry from the wetness...

Inserts are what go inside and absorb the wee (as Nichola explained above) and they are seperate from the nappy and are 'stuffed' into the nappy shell to make it absorbant :)
