Oh dear.

Postby justme123 » Fri Feb 11, 2011 1:36 pm

I've just added up all the nappies I've bought for bump and I think I have gone a little overboard

I have in newborn size: 12 x dizzy diapers; 2 x swaddlebees; 1 x puddlekins; 1 x thirsties; 1 unbranded fitted; 3 x tots sz 0 wraps

In small size: 10 x tots sz 1 cotton; 11 x bamboozles sz 1; 2 x minki huggles; 1 x minki pocket; 2 x ellas house; a few other misc fitted; 3 x tots sz1 wraps; 3 x minki PUL wraps; 2 x ME rikki wraps; 1 wool soaker; several cotton bottoms / bambino mio wraps that I got with other stuff.

And *quite a few* BTP and med size nappies...

Someone make me stop now  :giggle:

It wouldn't be soo bad, except that my last baby was 8lb13 and only fit small nappies for about 3 months, let alone newborn, I have a tumble dryer and can wash everyday! Also I'm hopefully finding out this afternoon what I'm having, so I'm going to *NEED* some cute boy/girl stuff....

I'm going to have to start a major destash before #3 even gets here.

:giggle: dont, I bought a tiny xs bg aio a while back, im not even pregnant, it was just a total impulse buy for "when i have the next one" lol, I wouldnt mind so much but i know pockets/aio's wont even work for a new born

Naaaa you don't have too much  Plus be kind to the environment and don't use your drier, then you have an excuse to need all those nappies whilst the others are line drying :hohoho:

I don't think that's a big stash. Sounds to me like it is just right. Line/airer drying is better for nappies anyway & doing a wash everyday will eventually get you down so you need that many nappies :D

Thanks all - I feel better now! I'm telling myself that I will be able to sell on the nb ones when they don't fit any more, so its only temporary... :giggle:

Next challenge, to fix / replace the rotary dryer in the garden so I can line dry! That will be a good excuse

:hohoho: at the xs bg "just in case"!! I have been *trying* to stay away from pockets aios as I know the fitted will work better when they're little. Now I just keep finding myself looking at btp / med size ones "for when they grow out of sz 1"... Nothing like planning ahead! :D
