Poppers for me. LO's often undo aplix when they get older. I also didn't like the fact that aplix rubbed on DS's tummys leaving red marks - think this happened when they were sitting down.

I would say it depends on nappy as much as personal preference :D

Velcro nappies are much more adjustable, which i found great for getting a good fit on dd, BUT i do not like all velcro nappies as some just have too bigger, stiff tabs, and others have the band stitched too high up the front of the nappy and it then rubs on little tummies :-?

We always had a mixture!

I prefer poppers or nippa fastening, we had problems with velcro rubbing and getting stuck to everything else in the wash, plus we also have the issue of tiny waist-massive thighs so need side snap nappies or front fastening with 2 rows of poppers like fuzzis

We have both in our stash - I prefer side snapping poppers but do have a few front fastening ones as well. I find Tots bots applix to be pretty good at staying very sticky but the applix on my little lambs is rubbish!
