I had three in cloth for about ten months! They all had seperate piles (had to for size and absorbancy issues). Which also helped anyone else changing them as it was clear whose was whose!
I washed every other day (large washing machine, but really struggled to also have them all in cloth in night, was much easier when the number dropped to two).
I found that I needed a million and ten wipes as they were almost like gold dust if they all had a pooey day!
Going out I would have two nappies per child in the changing bag and then if it was a whole day out there would be a further bag rammed with nappies in the boot of the car to top up with as necessary!
The best bit was admiring the nappies all stacked up neatly, worst bit was keeping up with restuffing them! I also got some satisfaction with gaving them all in cloth, despite the 'oh how much extra work' 'you're mad' comments!

I have had 2 in cloth for nearly 6 weeks now, and im getting on fine. Ihave a large drum machine so wash every day and a half at the moment, but obviously dd is still teeny so going through alot of nappies. I second what pp has said about wipes, you go through alot!

I had 2 in cloth for 15 months as DD didnt PT until 3.

Pretty much the same as what a lot of the others have said - each tended to have their own stash as, even though I use BTP pockets as much as possible, boosting and snapping were different. Plus needed girly colours and boy colours lol. I did have some gender neutral ones that could be used for either and like PP I took out 3 nappies, 1 for each and 1 for whoever needed it. I also kept (and still do) an emergency nappy bag in the boot of the car with wipes and 1 for each of them in it. Nowadays it is 1 nappy and a bag with the travel potty in it.

I bought a huge double change bag which was invaluable and way better than trying to juggle 2 or 3 other bags. Meant everything was organised and all together, especially once No.2 starts weaning!

Washing was every 1 and a half days, my machine will take about 16 nappies + wipes, liners and wet bags. for the first few weeks it was daily, and after 6 months or so it went down to every 2 days.

Second what has been said about wipes, and also get yourself another airer, and one of those circular pegs on a hook thingies for wipes etc. When you are doing that much washing the last thing you want is to run out of drying space if it rains!

Tbh I didnt find it too much of a hassle, but then I will wash and stuff my nappies happily and ignore the piles of washing / ironing / folding for all the other stuff.

Weehuggers and Thirsties Duo have some nice patterns on their wraps imo.
