Close pop in - too small

I bought 3 pop-ins off ebay to try on my lo, i have been told they are really good for night times however i put it on my 3.5 month old and the tabs only just reach the applix! I though these were meant to be a btp nappy?

Has anyone else had this issue?

When babies are little you are closing the nappy around their belly which is quite round. As they get bigger, you are closing the nappy under the belly (if that makes sense), which is narrower so it will last. Maybe not until potty training though because I found that the rise on the pop in is quite low.

my lo is two and just about fits in them, they are getting small on her though don't think they'll last much longer
