I always wash my hands after doing a nappy change or putting on a nappy wash so I'm not really bothered about getting wee on my hands what difference does it make  it's only wee and wee is sterile anyway!

I guess what it boils down to is that I am too lazy to take them out lol
Doesn't seem to make a difference as they always come out clean. I just want to know that I am not the only one who can't be bothered to remove them

I chuck them in the bucket as they are but tend to take the inserts out as I'm throwing them into the machine. I also un-pop any snap in inserts or boosters. Mostly it's because they usually have poo on them and need rinsed anyway

I take mine out and unpopper all inserts and fitteds too before they go in the nappy bucket. My DH hasn't once done a nappy wash in 21 months, but he does leave the wet nappies on top of the bucket for me to sort out .

Nope, I just bung mine in the bucket & they always work their way out in the wash. I do unsnap the inserts from fitteds & NN's though as I don't want them to tear or anything in the wash.
