Oliver fit into his teenyfits until over 20 weeks. he has always been long and thin even at birth. he has a teeny waist so the teenys fit well. You might have a heavy baby, but you wonbt know its shape till it gets here and it might fit very very well in some nb nappies.

Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2011 7:56 amMy babies were 6,15 8,3 & Zarah was 8,5 and tbh I did skip the newborn nappies with the exception of 1 nappy that I bought from here 
Tots stretchies fit from quite small as they poppered right down and we were using our BGv3 by about a week old and my absolute favs little lambs straight from the off with a little imaginative fixing
Even though Zarah was not a big big baby I was glad I didn't waste money on tiny nappies that really would not have lasted very long preloved or not, if your not sure then Muslins or prefolds would be a cheap but efficient way to start the first few weeks IMO

Posted: Fri Aug 19, 2011 8:29 amI have bought a few teenyfits just because they are so cute, but not expecting them to fit for very long. Otherwise I have gone for smalls or BTP, like Stretchies and easyfits. Oli was 9lb 11 and evie was a straight 10lb, but didn't use cloth with either from birth, only with evie from 6 weeks, so all a bti of a learning curve here

Jonah was very long & broad but Isaac was very long & fat with enormous thighs!
