Washing at 40 lots of opinions plz!

just put my nappies on a 40 but so not happy about it! just dont want them to get ruining constantly washed on 60. plz tell my ocd head that they are clean enough on a 40??

40 is fine!
I do the odd 60 wash every now & again, but 40 is my regular nappy wash temp!

40 is our normal too with the occasional 60 sometimes stains are left at either temp but the sun soon sorts that. 40 is much kinder to pul!

I do 40 as well.Stripe them from time to time and occasionally do 60.As the PP said sun will do the trick!

40 is perfect. Did you do a cold prewash too?

Yup, we mostly wash nappies at 40, with a cold pre wash. I will wash at 60 if there has been a stomach bug etc in the house, or the nappies are particularly miserable, but the sun sorts out any stains.

WSS! And I always do a cold rinse first.

I was at 40 too as 60 can damage the nappies. I very occasionally do a 60 for my fitteds if they are getting stinky (I think twice in 2 years) but I always do two rinses after the wash and haven't had to strip them since.

We have always washed at 40 too.
