I always wash nappies at 60 as 40 just doesnt smell clean. Also do the same with duvets, towels and tea towels.
Whites & bedding gets washed at 40 and all colours 30.

ETA; our wonderoos v1 are 3 1/2 yrs old, and still going strong - no problem with washing at 60

I'm not a clean freak, but I always wash underwear at 50 or 60 after reading once about how much fecal matter and bacteria is left when washed at 40 even if you never see a mark on them :puke: So it's even more important IMO for nappies as they obviously get poo on them. So in this house nappies, underwear, towels and bedding all get washed at 50 or 60. Actually after reading this I'm thinking 50 isn't enough and I should always use 60 :giggle:

Just while thinking about it too, I washed clothes at my mums last week on 30 and non of them were clean enough and had to be washed again at 40, so what a pointless waste that was

We always wash at 40, unless DD has a tummy upset, then we wash at 60 for a couple of washes or until she is better.

I wash all my nappies at 60, did a trial run of washing them at 40 but even though we don't have hard water, they never seemed clean enough. My BGv3's are 3yrs old have never been out of use in that time, and the pul is fine, no leaking at all. Just out of interest, does anyone wash their mf bags at 60? Always done mine at 40 as care label instructions but would be great to chuck the whole lot in together. X

I always wash mine at 60. With our hard water they don't seem clean enough on a 40.

Clothes get washed on a 40 though.

I've always done mine at 60 with the nappies. Never checked the label tbh
