Anyone got any advice for a novice?
I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but my DD2 (4 months old) has just had two very messy incidents within the space of 30 minutes. First one in a nippa'd WamBamboo (inc booster and fleece liner) + Rikki wrap, then in a Bambinex (aplix with fleece liner) + ME Airflow. Fortunately the wraps contained most of the debris but sooooooo much came out the sides of both 'fitteds'
I did think when I was doing the WB that it seemed a bit 'gapey' round the legs, but I couldn't seem to get it any tighter there. She's quite a little baby (6 weeks prem) and prob only about 12-13lb, but I really don't understand how so much poo ended up coming out of the leg-holes of the nappy and hardly any on the liner!?!? And it wouldn't even wash off with the shower-over-the-loo technique - urgh, images of yellow glue-poo engrained in fingernails (sorry, TMI!!)
I'm hoping this is just a particularly bad day, but maybe I haven't found the best fitting nappy for her shape yet. I think a fluffle I used was ok for 'keeping stuff in' but I prefer the slimmness of bamboo atm.
Any suggestions gratefully receieved
