wool allergy

Postby charliesam » Fri Aug 22, 2008 5:39 pm

I think sam is allergic to wool! I have tried 2 different pairs of shorties and each time his eyes have puffed up and gone red and his nose has ran. He also got a sl rash. This has now happened 3 times! I have just bought 2 shorties and have a pair of longies and a soaker on there way!

Has anyone ever heard of anything similar?

Have put shorties up for sale in classifieds- maybe will buy WN wrap

I did wonder how you all managed to get on so well with wool.
my ds1 had a wool jumper when he was about 1 - when ever he wore it his neck/chin would be red raw - he always had a shirt on underneath. Eventually i ditched the jumper as he was fine at all other times, but i've never put anything wool on any of the others because of that. :?

Sounds like it could be an allergy to the lanolin, such a shame, i wonder if you could email the people you've ordered from and explain, you might be able to cancel the orders.
