How to do a strip wash.

Well i knwo that i need to strip wash nappies every so often, well my nappies aint been smelling clean for a while so i tired one previously and it didnt work. so wondered if some one could do me an idiots guide to one. like everything step by step, including how many tablets and if i put tablets in the place wehre powder goes or in the actual drum ect. and the temprature for one

also my daughters had thrush will a strip wash be good enough to deal with this or do i need to do somethign extra

Everything you need to know about strip wash is there sweets as for the thrush as long as it's cleared up a good wash at 60 normally sorts any lingering horribleness out!

no its not gone, hunni, should i put her in normally nappies until it is, or keep doing 60 washes each time until its gone?

also i was told you could do strip wash with dishwasher tablets is this wrong?

What I do is
Cold wash as normal
60 degree wash with a full dose of soda crystals
then 3 or so rinses until bubbles have gone x

I do rinse
Full dose bio powder 60 wash
Then I rinse 3-4 times to clear the excess
Then I wash with 1/2 cup bicarb of soda in the detergent draw and 1/2 cup vinegar in the fabric softener section.

For the Dishwasher tablet you just put 1 in the detergent part if tour machine with clean nappies.

do you do the bicarb bit with the nappies still in and do you rinse or anything after this.

and maybe i should do 1 wash on 30 witrh detewrgant then do the few rinses before addin dishwashter tablet and doing oen

Re: thrush sweets, just keep putting cream on and washing at 60 till its gone, that's what I do and we've always been a regular thrush household even in sposies
