It's not just they are faded, I don't really mind that, but they are really thin and threadbare and not absorbing as much as they did, so fairly useless! I've had to put an extra booster in to make them last the night and Emma hasn't started drinking more suddenly. We have some nicer, newer ones to replace them so these are only sitting around here not getting used, I don't like throwing things out!

Recycle them? cut them up and use the decent bits to make inserts, boosters or csp maybe? Otherwise there are several charities that recycle textiles for fibre, insulation etc.

Could they be used as doll nappies?

Does your recycling take textiles?

Ah ha, yes, that is a good point, they can go in our recycle bin actually, they do take textiles. They're too big for dolls really, and DD struggles with poppers anyway, she has a couple of xs BG AIOs for her dolls. Hadn't thought to cut them up actually... I'm not really a sewy person unfortunately, I wish I was! Thanks for the suggestions :D

Quite a few local schools around us have now got textile banks, maybe worth checking out near you. For me it means I no longer have to wait until either I was going somewhere near a textile bank or to collect enough for a special trip.
