Help! Builder's bum!

Recently, my lo has been getting a 'builder's bum' with nearly all her nappies (except flips). She is quite chunky, but surely she shouldn't be out-growing her btp nappies?!? :-? Any advice, I would be very grateful!

She certainly shouldn't be, and chunky babies don't get builders bum, so much. It's more of a rise thing.

What nappies do you use? Maybe you just need to try a different brand?

I found DS got it with most pocket nappies the WN HR sized were the ones that worked best for us. But I had just discovered WN so have to say I didn't look much further but BTP really didn't work for either of mine.

My LO also has a high rise (and is very chunky). BG etc are pretty small on her now at just 8 months, and if my boys are anything to go by she won't slim down much any time soon. With pockets I am getting a better fit with sized than btp, although flips are fine, and also greenkids. I am mostly using greenkids and happy Heiney at the moment. The btp HH are a very good fit and will last a while.

I think some babies (mine unfortunately) are just built big in the nappy department. Ds1 was in toddler size xl nappies (toddlease and bumpers, minki yoyos etc) from about 12m, and luckily potty trained before 2 as I was struggling to find anything to fit him.

Don't forget that once they get on the move, they slim down, especially around the legs.
